Fun on Campus
We were back out Treasure Hunting as part of Campus Breakout this week. Here’s the account of what went on (it’s a good one!) again through the eyes of Mr Omenaka…
Five of us went out and headed towards Happiness Cafe. When we were there, we saw loads of people who matched our clues. There was a woman dressed from head to toe in yellow, a man with his left arm in a sling and a woman with a purple...
Party Time
As we’ve been encouraged to pray over all our situations and people “come, Holy Spirit”, I was praying it over where I work on Friday morning.
In the next few minutes, I got a text from one of my word friends, asking me for two tickets to a party I’d been encouraging them to go to. Both of them are struggling in large areas of their lives.

Curry Mile
For Buckets of Love, we decided to head down the curry mile, giving out words designed to encourage and bless people. We had a few good encounters, but here’s one that sticks out in particular.

Ankles

Over the last few months I had noticed that whenever I had spent along time on my feet my ankles would really ache quite...

Long-Term Back Pain
For many weeks now, due to having to sit at a computer for 10-11 hours a day 5 days a weeks at work, I have long-term debilitating back pain. I have been prescribed high strength ibruprofen gel for this, which I have used on a daily basis for around six months. Last Sunday, I was really fed up with the pain and decided not to use the gel, so that I could tell whether God had healed it if I asked...

Welcome Week
On Thursday during Welcome Week, we did a treasure hunt at the University of Manchester. We had a few clues leading us to the library area. We got there and spoke to a few people but not that much was happening. We saw a girl with a couple of clues on Simon and Iona’s map so they went over to speak to her. As they were walking over, she started walking away, so they had to follow her for ages...
