Train Fare
I was really reminded how God cares about the smallest details in our life… I realised I had no money left in my account to get a train back to Manchester from London. I did not know this until the day of departure, but wasn’t majorly worried as God has provided for me so much already this year. I said a quick prayer about it and continued with packing. An hour before I left a friend said to me...

Heart of Glass
A little while ago I smashed a glass in the bathroom and the bits went everywhere. It took ages to clear up. I was was having a shower a few days after and I saw a piece right on top of the taps and in the shape of a heart! It’s not sharp at all and I think I’m going to keep it - it reminds me that God loves me.

Pink Peonies
Since Joy Unleashed I have been having crazy visions! Although I’ve thoroughly enjoyed them, I’ve not really understood what they were about. However, I was praying for my mum’s best friend on Monday night and audibly heard the word ‘Peonies’. I texted her to say a verse I’d thought of and randomly stuck my peonies vision in. She replied the next day saying that she’d been doubting God recently...

Pancakes
Around Christmas time last year (2010) I burnt my finger on a frying pan whilst attempting to flip a pancake. It really hurt so I decided to pray that God would heal it. I woke up the next morning completely pain free. One saturday a few weeks back (21st may), I was over at a friend’s house when she also burnt her hand because of pancakes. I told her about my healing and prayed that God would heal...

Mugging
A couple of days prior to the ‘event’, I was reminded of a story I had heard about a woman who was mugged by two guys - but instead of taking her purse she gave them the gospel and they came to Christ shortly after. I always wondered what I would do in that situation, then one day I got the chance… I was walking down Platt Lane after a friend’s party and suddenly two guys...

Epilepsy
My father has had epilepsy all his life.  This meant that, on average, he would have a fit every six months or so but more if he was very stressed or tired.  As I was growing up his fits where always something I was scared of and it always upset me to see him fitting as he would always hurt himself.  It would also totally disrupt any plans he or the family had.  He once seriously burnt himself and...

Heart
Sat here this morning its safe to say I’ve had a pretty interesting and completely unplanned for week!! If there was ever a point in which I was completely blown away by the goodness and faithfulness of God it’s now as in earthly terms I should be dead.  Many of you reading this will know that for a long time now I’ve had a problem with maintaining stable blood pressure and heart rate. This has...

Campus Treasure Hunt
We had a number of “first-timers” out treasure hunting this week which meant we had do some extended training before we set off. This was really helpful and reminded us again just why we go treasure hunting and how we go about it - the answer to both of those being God’s love. So my team set off, heading first for “Jabez Clegg”* and the nearby streets (“pub car-park”). Immediately we saw a lady...
